A serious event near Sandringham's royal residence has shocked Britain. Dr. Hannah Terry, also professionally known as Hannah Cain, was found dead at her house in Dersingham, Norfolk.
Terry was part of the group of doctors who could be called to treat royal family members during their stays in Sandringham and had also treated Queen Camille. King Charles and Camille have been informed of the event.
Police were called to the apartment in the early hours of October 4th. Terry was found unconscious and was not breathing.
According to Le Parisien, the initial posthumous examination found an injury from the hard-to-head stroke and signs that can be linked to neck compression.
Her husband, Mark Cain, 45, is accused of murder. People reports that he appeared in court on 7 October and was kept in custody as judicial procedures continue. He has not yet declared guilt or innocence for the prosecution.
The circumstances of the event make it even more shocking. Children were in the house because Dr. Terry was organizing an evening of stay overnight for her children and their friends.
Le Parisien reports that Terry worked as a general physician in Grimston Medical Centre and offered medical attention to Camillan during the royal family's stays in Sandringham.
Colleagues and patients have described her as a devoted and empathetic doctor. Terry was a mother of three.
The Norfolk police investigation continues, while the motive for the assassination has not been made public, reports People.
