EuroMillions players are checking their tickets following the Friday, October 2 draw, which offered a jackpot worth an estimated £28 million in the UK.
The draw comes just one week after a UK ticket holder secured a massive £111.7 million EuroMillions jackpot.

The EuroMillions draw took place on Friday evening, with players needing to match all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars to secure the jackpot.

Players should verify their numbers through their official national lottery operator before making any claim.
Thunderball results
UK players also had the Thunderball draw to follow.
The winning Thunderball numbers for Friday were:
1, 5, 20, 23, 36
The Thunderball was 7.
Every UK EuroMillions ticket also automatically receives a UK Millionaire Maker code, giving players an additional opportunity to win £1 million.
£111 million winner claimed days earlier
Interest in EuroMillions remains particularly high in Britain following one of the biggest lottery wins of 2026.
A UK ticket holder won £111,709,000 in the September 25 draw after matching the five main numbers 11, 12, 15, 38 and 49, plus Lucky Stars 10 and 12.
The winner subsequently came forward to claim the enormous prize.
National Lottery operator Allwyn said the jackpot was the equal 14th largest prize ever won in the UK and the 21st UK lottery prize worth at least £100 million.
A huge year for UK EuroMillions winners
The £111.7 million jackpot added to an extraordinary series of major UK wins during 2026.
A single ticket won approximately £181 million in March, while two UK winners shared a £125 million jackpot with a French player in April.
The UK EuroMillions record remains £195.7 million, won by an anonymous ticket holder in July 2022.
For anyone who entered Friday's latest draw, the advice is simple: check the ticket carefully and verify any potential prize through the official lottery operator.
