T The SMC, one of the most important companies in the global semi-sponding industry, is expected to register another quarter with record profits.
According to a Reuters analysis, the Taiwanese company could report net profit growth by about 65% during the third quarter of 2026, compared to the same period last year.
The forecast is based on the high demand for advanced chips used in data centers, servers, and electronic devices.
T SMC produces chips for large international companies, including Nvivia and Apple, and is a key supplier of technology industry.
Analysts expect the company's profit to reach about $746 billion Taiwanese, equivalent to approximately $3.4 billion.
Reuters reports that the company has registered strong income growth, while investors are carefully following its plans to expand production capacities.
Much of the strategy includes investments in the United States, especially in Arizona.
Enhancing production outside Taiwan is also important because of geopolitical tensions and governments' demand for more secure supply chains.
However, the 65% profit remains a forecast of analysts and not the final result released by the company.
T The SMC will be seen as an important indicator of the state of the global technology industry.
