Wall Street pushed into fresh record territory as falling Treasury yields and lower oil prices helped investors look beyond recent inflation concerns.

US stocks climbed to new highs Tuesday as investors returned to major technology companies and Treasury yields eased.

Reuters reports that both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq reached record levels, with several of America's largest technology stocks helping drive the gains.

Nvidia rose again, pushing its market value close to the extraordinary $6 trillion level.

Meta, Tesla and Amazon also gained during early trading, while Apple and Alphabet moved slightly lower.

Investors have recently been balancing two very different signals. Equity markets remain extremely strong, while bond yields and inflation concerns continue to suggest risks for the wider economy.

Tuesday brought some relief as the US 10 year Treasury yield eased and oil prices declined.

Markets are also preparing for the next corporate earnings season, which could determine whether record stock valuations are supported by company profits.

Technology remains at the center of investor optimism, although high interest rates and energy costs continue to create uncertainty for consumers and businesses.
