Netflix is preparing a busy October with a long list of movies and television series joining its streaming catalog.
The October 2026 lineup includes both new productions and established titles, giving subscribers fresh options across drama, entertainment and film.
Among the projects attracting attention is "East of Eden," while additional releases will continue arriving throughout the month.
October is traditionally an important period for streaming platforms.
Audiences begin spending more time indoors in many major markets, while studios start positioning major releases ahead of the holiday season.
Competition for viewers has also become increasingly intense as Netflix faces major streaming rivals across the United States, Europe and other international markets.
The result has been a steady increase in exclusive movies, premium series and major returning franchises.
For subscribers, the growing number of releases also means deciding which services to keep has become an increasingly important part of entertainment spending.
Netflix remains one of the world's largest streaming services, giving major releases on the platform immediate access to a huge international audience.
