BTS have entered a major new chapter with their fifth studio album, ARIRANG, and a world tour bringing the group back to audiences across multiple continents.

The comeback carries special significance because it marks a full-group return after a period in which the members focused on military service and individual projects.

BTS introduced songs from the album during BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE: ARIRANG, a special performance held at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on March 21, 2026. The event was also streamed globally through Netflix.

The location placed the group at the center of one of Seoul’s most recognizable public spaces, turning the album launch into more than a traditional promotional performance.

The official comeback announcement confirmed that the event celebrated the release of the group’s fifth studio album and included the first performances of new material.

BTS also launched the ARIRANG world tour, with concerts and related events organized across Asia, Australia, Europe and Latin America. Ticket announcements have attracted intense interest from the group’s ARMY fan base.

The album title has cultural importance. Arirang is closely associated with Korean identity and exists in numerous regional versions. By choosing the name for a major global comeback, BTS connected its international reach with a symbol deeply rooted in Korean history and culture.

The tour has also expanded beyond traditional concerts. HYBE organized city-based experiences linked to selected dates, including a special London program designed to involve fans throughout the host city.

The official BTS tour page provides updates about the group’s ongoing international schedule.

For BTS, the ARIRANG era is not simply another album campaign. It represents a reunion, a renewed global presence and the beginning of the group’s next long-term chapter.
