Promi Big Brother 2026 officially begins on Monday, October 5, bringing a new group of celebrities into one of Germany’s most watched reality TV formats.
The 14th season premieres at 8:15 p.m. local time on SAT.1 and will also be available through Joyn. According to Joyn, viewers will be able to follow the contestants beyond the daily television broadcasts through a 24 hour livestream.
This year’s cast includes a mixture of reality TV personalities, actors, musicians, sports figures and online creators.
Among the biggest names are former heavyweight boxer Axel Schulz, No Angels singer Nadja Benaissa, actor Gedeon Burkhard and former Bayern Munich footballer Christian Lell.
Reality television is also strongly represented. Kim Virginia Grey enters alongside her husband Nikola Grey, making them one of the most closely watched additions to this year’s cast. Tessa Bergmeier, Anouschka Renzi and Maurice Dziwak are also taking part.
The remaining contestants are Gia Georgina, Nina Bridney, Godfrey Egbon, Francesca Morgese and restaurateur Redo.
One of the major changes this season is the living arrangement. Contestants can be divided between a comfortable house and a much more basic garden area, where residents face limited facilities and outdoor living conditions. Big Brother controls which contestants live on each side.
Marlene Lufen and Jochen Schropp return to host the main live shows, while coverage continues after the broadcasts with Promi Big Brother: Die Late Night Show.
The competition is expected to run for around two weeks, with viewers playing an important role through voting and nominations. The eventual winner will receive €100,000.
With the premiere taking place tonight and the complete cast now confirmed, Promi Big Brother 2026 is entering its first major test: which celebrities will thrive under constant surveillance, and which relationships will begin to crack once the cameras never stop?
