A family conflict between moderath and German actress Collien Fernandes and her 14-year-old daughter has taken a legal turn, drawing the attention of German media.
According to the newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) and RTL television, Fernandes has been forced to take on a legal commitment to stop publishing specific information from her daughter's private life.
The announcement was made public on October 8th, through lawyers representing the minor.
What happened between mother and daughter?
According to Höch Rechtsanwälte's statement of law office, on October 1, 2026 Fernandes signed a declaration banning the repetition of certain publications.
This means that the moderator cannot again publicly share some personal information about her daughter. In violation of commitment can bring financial penalties.
Lawyers claimed the girl had asked several times, even earlier, that her personal affairs were not included in her mother's public confessions.
According to them, Fernandes had previously published such information in the Instagram.
Family conflict had begun earlier
Collieen Fernandes has been in the spotlight for the conflict with her former husband, actor Christian Ulmen, the daughter's father.
Fernandes has pressed charges against Ulmen over the alleged use of her identity on the internet and other personal issues.
Ulmen has rejected the charges. The controversial issues should not be treated as proven facts, and it is worth the presumption of innocence.
According to the t-online, Fernandes had talked earlier publicly about breaking contact with the girl in the context of the family conflict.
However, the reasons and personal circumstances of the relationship between them have not been fully clarified by independent sources.
Lawyers Seek Self - Respect
In their statement, lawyers stressed that the girl because of her age enjoys special protection of personality rights under German law.
They argue that her desire to keep private life out of public attention should be respected, despite her parents' fame.
According to Berliner Zeitung's report, there was no new public response from Fernandes to the legal declaration to publication.
The case has turned to an issue affecting many families of celebrities: the line between the right of parents to speak publicly and the right of children to privacy.
