Thursday Night Football is back with one of the NFL's fiercest rivalries as the Pittsburgh Steelers visit the Cleveland Browns at Huntington Bank Field.
The Week 4 game kicks off Thursday at 8:15 p.m. ET and streams on Prime Video, according to the NFL. Both teams enter the matchup with 2 and 1 records, making the game especially important in the AFC North race.
Aaron Rodgers faces Cleveland
Much of the attention is on Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is playing what is expected to be his final NFL season.
The Associated Press reports that Rodgers enters the game with 13 career wins on Thursdays, just one behind Tom Brady's quarterback record of 14. Rodgers has also thrown 11 touchdowns without an interception in five career games against Cleveland.
Pittsburgh arrives after beating Cincinnati 30 to 27, while Cleveland defeated Carolina 21 to 18 last week.
Browns have history on their side at home
Cleveland has become a difficult destination for Pittsburgh.
According to the Associated Press, the Steelers have lost all nine of their Thursday road games against AFC North opponents. Four of those defeats came against the Browns.
Cleveland has also won seven consecutive Thursday games, currently the longest active streak in the NFL.
Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson enters the rivalry matchup after throwing four touchdowns without an interception over his previous two games, the AP reports.
First place is on the line
The stakes go beyond the rivalry.
NFL.com reports that Thursday night's winner will take the AFC North lead entering Week 5 regardless of the other results. The game is also the 150th meeting between Pittsburgh and Cleveland.
With Rodgers under the prime time spotlight, Cleveland defending its impressive Thursday record and first place in the division at stake, Steelers vs Browns gives NFL fans plenty to watch as Week 4 begins.
