Novak Djokovic has written another chapter in tennis history after defeating Alexander Zverev at the China Open. Djokovic came from behind to win 4–6, 6–4, 6–4 and reach the semifinals.
The victory extended Djokovic’s unbeaten run in Beijing to 32 consecutive matches. That number surpassed Rafael Nadal’s previous record of 31 consecutive victories at a single tour-level event. At 39 years old, Djokovic continues to compete at the highest level and remains one of the biggest names in world tennis.
